“Beach Burr – Rodeo Beach”

I can’t tell you how much I like this photo, but maybe that’s narcissistic, because this is exactly the kind of thing I would do myself. I LOVE tree roots. And sometimes I like to have something natural with a manmade thing, and bright w/pale, the way you’ve done it. When I look at some of your photos I feel like you’ve read my mind, but not in any negative way. It’s that shock that’s also recognition, when you see a little dab of yourself in another person, and the relief that in some remote way, you are not absolutely alone.
Your description of the way that my art has affected or touched you is for me the “payoff” that makes any of my creative endeavors worthwhile.
It was real nice talking to you about your work,
your photos are beautiful.
I am coming to town very soon so I want to talk
please include your phone and a e-mail.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, Mark. I like this kind of Christmas tree.
Thanks, Eileen. Since I’m not able to get out of the City to commune with nature very often, I had to substitute beach burr for a fir tree, but I actually like it a lot, too. It sort of reminds me of good ol’ Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree.
