Written by architectural historian Michael Corbett and photographed by me, the survey nominating the Tenderloin to the National Register of Historic Places has been accepted and approved by the National Park Service. On 05 February 2009, the Uptown Tenderloin Historic District was listed in the National Register of Historic Places; #08001407 in the weekly list of actions taken on properties: 02 Feb 09 through 06 Feb 09.
