Hey Doug! I am a fellow downtown dweller (7th/Market) who stumbled upon this website by accident and I totally love what you’re doing! My book, On The Lower Frequencies: A Secret History of The City just came out this spring on Soft Skull Press and it includes a lot of my own writing about living in 6th Street SRO’s, about Mission and TL gentrification, and about editing a 6th street free newspaper.
